Context

The CEO was opening six dashboards every morning — pipeline, support, hiring, finance, product, calendar — and arriving at standup already drained.

Problem

No synthesis. Just raw data, repeated daily, in six tabs. The 30 minutes of dashboard-scanning was eating the most strategic part of his day.

Build

• Wrote a prompt chain that pulls from each source, dedupes, and surfaces anomalies — not totals.
• Trained the model on what the CEO actually cares about (deal-stage regressions, support spikes by segment, hiring slip days) versus what looks important.
• Delivers a 90-second read at 7:45am with a 'what changed' lead, a watchlist, and one prompt for the day.

Takeaway

AI didn't replace the dashboards. It replaced the scanning. The CEO still trusts the source — he just doesn't have to read it.
